Terms of use

Last updated October 30, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Carl Miller ("we", "us"), the developer of ReoTV. They cover the ReoTV app for Apple TV and this website. By downloading, installing or using ReoTV, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use ReoTV.

1. What ReoTV is

ReoTV is an app for viewing and controlling Reolink cameras, video doorbells, recorders and home hubs on your own local network. It connects to those devices directly. It has no account and no cloud service of its own.

2. Your license

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use ReoTV on Apple TV devices you own or control, as permitted by Apple's App Store terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or redistribute ReoTV, except where the law allows it regardless of this restriction. We keep all rights not expressly granted to you.

3. Apple's license agreement

ReoTV from the App Store is also covered by Apple's standard license agreement for apps (the Licensed Application End User License Agreement). Where these terms and Apple's agreement differ, Apple's agreement applies to the extent Apple's rules require it. Apple isn't a party to these terms and isn't responsible for ReoTV or its support.

4. Your devices and other companies

ReoTV works with hardware and firmware made by Reolink. ReoTV isn't made by, endorsed by or affiliated with Reolink, and we don't control how Reolink devices or firmware behave. Reolink and other product names belong to their owners and are used only to say what ReoTV works with. Apple TV and tvOS are trademarks of Apple Inc.

5. Your responsibilities

6. Not a security service

ReoTV isn't a monitored security service, an alarm system or an emergency service. It may not show every camera, every event or every detection, and it may stop working at any time. Don't rely on it to protect people or property, and don't use it in place of emergency services.

7. Privacy

ReoTV collects no personal information. See our privacy policy for what stays on your Apple TV and what, if anything, leaves your network.

8. No guarantees

ReoTV and this website are provided as is and as available, without guarantees, warranties or representations of any kind, express or implied. That includes, without limitation, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We don't promise that ReoTV will work with any particular device, firmware or tvOS version, or that it will keep working.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, video, property, profits or goodwill, arising from or related to ReoTV, even if we were told such damages were possible. This includes, without limitation, missed events, video that doesn't play or record, devices that stop working, and changes made to your devices through ReoTV. Our total liability for any claim related to ReoTV is limited to the amount you paid for ReoTV, if anything. Some places don't allow these limits, so some of them may not apply to you.

10. Release

By using ReoTV, you release us from any claims, demands and damages of every kind, known or unknown, arising from or related to your use of ReoTV or your inability to use it, to the fullest extent the law allows.

11. Indemnity

You agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims, losses and costs, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your use of ReoTV, your devices or your recordings, or your breaking these terms or any law.

12. Changes and ending

We may change, suspend or stop offering ReoTV at any time. We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and continuing to use ReoTV after a change means you accept it. Your license ends if you break these terms, and you must then stop using ReoTV. Sections 4 to 11 and 13 continue after it ends.

13. General

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of laws rules, and any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Gregg County, Texas. If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. Our not enforcing a part of these terms isn't a waiver of it. These terms, the privacy policy and Apple's license agreement are the whole agreement between you and us about ReoTV.
