ReoTV is an Apple TV app for viewing and controlling Reolink cameras, video doorbells, recorders and home hubs on your own home network.
What ReoTV collects
Nothing. ReoTV has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no crash reporting service. The developer receives no information about you, your devices or your video.
What stays on your Apple TV
- The addresses, names and models of the devices ReoTV finds, and your settings.
- The login for each device, kept in the Apple TV's Keychain.
- Small still pictures from your cameras, for detections and for the home screen's Top Shelf.
If your Apple TV is signed in to iCloud, the device list, settings and logins are also kept in your own iCloud account, so they come back if the app is reinstalled. Apple holds that data under your account; the developer can't see it.
What leaves your home network
ReoTV talks only to devices on your local network. The one exception is a firmware check you can turn on in Settings: it asks reolink.com which firmware is newest for your device models, sending the model and hardware version names only.
Children
ReoTV isn't directed at children and collects nothing from anyone.
